TCAT 2 – Thermography ISO Category 2 (Virtual)

Program Overview

The use of Infrared Thermography (IRT) using measurements of surface temperature to monitor condition and diagnose faults in civil, mechanical, HME and electrical systems has become a key activity in predictive maintenance programs for most industries.

The effectiveness of these programs depends on the capability of individuals who perform the measurements and analyse the data.

TCAT 2 builds on TCAT 1 and teaches the necessary skills to perform and/or direct infrared thermography analysis using established and recognised procedures.

ICM Training Solutions’ TCAT 2 course is delivered by highly experienced category 3 accredited trainers and complies with International Standards including ISO 18436-1, ISO 18436-3, ISO 18436-7, ISO/IEC 17024 and ASNT SNT TC 1A.

Successful course completion prepares participants for optional certification by the Australian Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (AINDT)). Please enquire at the time of booking if ISO 18436 Category 2 Certification is required.

Please note that IR Thermography ISO Category 1 (TCAT 1) certification is a pre-requisite of this ISO Category II program. If in doubt, please enquire.
