VBL - Integrated Condition Monitoring

I-ICM Introduction to Condition Monitoring (Perth)

Program Overview

Sustainable, cost-effective machine reliability and operational safety are key challenges of industry groups. Making informed maintenance and operational decisions is critical to this process, as is having the awareness, the right spectrum of monitored information, system integration, and practical training and knowledge to be sustainably informed.

It is estimated at least one third of all maintenance costs are wasted as a direct result of unnecessary or improper maintenance. Add the cost of unnecessary down time and production loss and the equation of sustainability remains a much greater challenge than it need be. The I-ICM awareness training course discusses and workshops important foundational principals and application (and common short falls) of best practice Predictive Maintenance and the primary Condition Monitoring Technologies including:

  • Vibration Analysis
  • Lubrication Management & Analysis
  • Infrared Thermography
  • Ultrasound
  • Combination Technologies and Asset Types

Become aware of the principles, techniques and equipment for collecting, analysing and acting on critical condition monitoring information. Focusing on important, fundamental elements of theory and application to navigate predictive and proactive maintenance and condition monitoring from an informed perspective, and sustainably improve operational safety, reliability, and your bottom line. Learn the importance of awareness and vast opportunity of using what’s been diagnosed and learnt, to fuel the spectrum of proactive opportunities (including many “low hanging fruit”) to identify and mitigate operating risk, patterns of failure and sustainably improve reliability and machine lifecycles. The most successful maintenance programs optimise the application, integration and management of Condition Monitoring technologies in relation to maximising failure mode detection and identification; risk assessment and mitigation; and maintenance planning.
